 Judy Kelly


Founder of the school, Judy Kelly, AISTD, LAMDA (Gold Medalist) Director & choreographer is the daughter of an award winning director. She has a professional background, having attended the Aida Foster School of Dance & Drama from the age of 11 alongside such personalities as Barbara Windsor & Shirley Eaton.  She went on to study drama and voice production at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
As a child she appeared in such favorites as The Belles of St. Trinians, The Happiest Days of Your Life, The Gilbert & Sullivan Story, The Love Lottery  etc.

Chris Tarran



Judy is assisted by her partner at Stars at Knight, Chris Tarran (Cert.Ed.Drama ) a teacher of many year’s experience having taught at Stanmore College for several years along with several other secondary schools in the area. She is extremely popular with the students. Chris is particularly good with the younger children encouraging them to perform thoughtfully and to a high standard.


Alexia Amasanti


Alexia Amasanti B Ed. (Hons) has rejoined us after taking a break to bring up her family of four children.
Alexia has a degree in English and Drama and is a qualified primary school teacher. She has many years experience of teaching drama, taking the original Saturday morning classes at the Compass and also the weekday classes for Stars at Knight.
She has coached for both LAMDA and Trinity Guild Hall exams with excellent results and has taught drama at a special educational needs school.
Before that, Alexia trod the boards herself, taking leading parts for societies such as Argosy Players, where she earned quite a reputation for her excellent acting skills. We are delighted to have Alexia back with us.
